NT Software started alarm monitoring software development in 1986 with the aim of providing the central monitoring station industry with software it could rely on.
Not only did the software have to provide the performance needed to get the job done, it had to be user friendly, reliable, easy to administer, and be backed up by 24hr 7 Day support.
Our first venture into providing alarm monitoring software was with ADS (Access Detection System).
ADS ran on the DOS operating system and had a 2000 client limited database. ADS performed well and was one of the very first monitoring packages to correctly analyse and process the Contact ID reporting format. ADS was good, but there must be something better...
In 1990 NT Software decided on a move to the Microsoft Windows® operating system.
Then
was born the ADSW (Access Detection System for Windows). Following nearly 3
years of intense development and testing, December 1993 saw the first sale of
the ADSW program.
