DEC 2004 ======== This is a major upgrade for WebQuery and introduces a new feature for bureaus to request updates to their data. The feature is being called WebQueryLink or WQL for short. Overview: The update requests are initially stored in temporary tables within the WebQuery database. ADSW then "polls" these tables regularly to check for update requests. When a request is found, you have the option to set ADSW to write the data directly into the "live" ADSW database, or to display it for checking by an ADSW operator. The operator has an option to accept or reject the request and email confirmation is sent to the bureau. Other new features include: 1. A professional drop-down menu system. 2. Drop-down selection of dates on all pages containing dates and times. 3. Ability to print incidents for all MonCodes. 4. Ability to print service requests. 5. Ability to print a Client List filtered by Premises Name. 6. Ability to print History filtered by Premises Name. 7. Update of main Client record. 8. Update and create Temporary Notes for a Client. 9. Update Arm/Disarm times. 10. Update, create and delete Keyholders. 11. Update, create and delete site telephone numbers. 12. User returned to Index page after logging off. 13. When creating or updating a Bureau Level User - you have the option to allocate them "ReadOnly" or "ReadWrite" Access. This information is sent to our WebQuery User Monitoring Servers and is used to calculate your monthly billing amount. You will also notice that there is a new link on the Index page for mobile WAP phone users. We have included a basic WAP phone interface to view the last 30 events for a MonCode. This feature is currently being tested and we welcome your comments. Microsoft are promising great improvements for mobile devices in the forthcoming version 2 of the .Net Framework and we will take full advantage of the technology as soon as it becomes available. Radio buttons added to allow users to view history in the monitoring centre time zone - or the client time zone. OCT 2005 ======= 1. The WebQuery pages can now be customised by style sheets. This allows administrators more control over colours, fonts and logos which allows for Bureau "branding". Each bureau can have their own style sheet, which is also applied to the pages of their client level users. 2. Users can now log themselves off WebQuery if they have accidentally closed their browser window. The facility to send an email and send a request to the ADSW grid in order to reset the login has been removed. 3. The cursor automatically goes to the Site Name field on the site selection page and pressing the Enter key submits the search. If there is more than 1 site and the list of sites is displayed, users can now select the site with a single click - removing the requirement for a Select button. 4. Address line 1 is shown after the premises name on history reports. 5. The User ID is displayed after creating a new user. 6. Site list reports, finish MonCode defaults to ZZZZZZZ instead of 9999999.
